ZILCEF (CEFPROZIL MONOHYDRATE), generic CEFZIL is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as bronchitis (infection of the airway tubes leading to the lungs); and infections of the skin, ears, sinuses, throat, and tonsils. This medication treats only certain types of infections. CEFPROZIL MONOHYDRATE will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). ZILCEF is manufactured by ILKO Pharma LTD. in TURKEY.
CEFPROZIL MONOHYDRATE has to take orally once or twice daily with food.
