Indication & Dosage :
Ulfate (Sucralfate), generic Carafate is a prescription medicine used to treat of prevention of duodenal ulcers, as well as other gastrointestinal conditions as determined by a healthcare provider. Sucralfate therapeutic action involves forming a protective barrier over ulcerated tissue, shielding it from gastric Inceptad and fInceptalitating the healing process. Sucralfate is composed of a basic aluminum salt, which contributes to its protective and localized action within the gastrointestinal tract. Ulfate manufactured by Incepta Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.
Sucralfate has to take orally four times daily, one hour before meals and at bedtime.
Side Effects :
The most common side effects of Sucralfate are:
Constipation, Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, Stomach pain, Upset stomach or gas, Dry mouth, Itching or rash, Dizziness or feeling off balance, Drowsiness or trouble sleeping, Back pain or headache.
