Indication & Dosage :
Peranel (Perampanel), generic FYCOMPA is a prescription medicine used to treat of partial-onset seizures, with or without secondary generalization, in patients aged 4 years and older who have epilepsy. Perampanel is used as adjunctive therapy for the treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in patients aged 12 years and older. Perampanel is a non-competitive AMPA glutamate receptor antagonist. Perampanel is an anti-epileptic drug. Peranel manufactured by Square Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.
Perampanel has to take orally once daily at bedtime without food as directed by patients doctor.
Side Effects :
The most common side effects of Perampanel are:
Dizziness, a feeling of spinning, unsteadiness, trouble walking, loss of balance, drowsiness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, headache, or weight gain.
