Olestar (Cholestyramine Resin), generic QUESTRAN is a prescription medicine used to treat hepatitis itching which is known as Cholestatic pruritis. Cholestyramine resin is recommended by European, American, as well as Asia Pacific Association for the study of the liver. Cholestyramine resin also works for diarrhea, bile acid which is common in patients after cholecystectomy. Olestar manufactured by Everest Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh.
Cholestyramine Resin has to take orally once or twice a day as directed by patient’s doctor.
Side Effects :
