CEFDIA (CEFIXIME), generic SUPRAX is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as Acute Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis, Ear Infection (Otitis Media), Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis, Uncomplicated Gonorrhea, and Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infection. CEFIXIME works by stopping the growth of bacteria. CEFIXIME antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. CEFIXIME will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). CEFDIA is manufactured by ILKO Pharma LTD. in TURKEY.
CEFIXIME has to take orally once or twice a day with or without food.
