Bavencio (Avelumab), is a prescription medicine used to treat of adults with metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC). Avelumab is also approved for use in patients aged 12 years and older. It works by modulating the immune system to enhance its ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. Avelumab belongs to a class of medications known as monoclonal antibodies. Bavencio manufacturted by Merck Pharma Ltd. In USA. Avelumab is given by injection into a vein over 60 minutes as directed by your doctor, usually once every 2 weeks.
