Indication & Dosage :
Ascentib (Asciminib), generic Scemblix is a prescription medicine used to treat of patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in chronic phase (CP), previously treated with two or more tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Asciminib is approved under accelerated approval based on major molecular response (MMR). Asciminib is Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (Ph+ CML) in chronic phase (CP) with the T315I mutation. Ascentib manufactured by Ziska Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. Asciminib has to take orally 80mg once daily at approximately the same time each day or 40mg twice daily at approximately 12-hour intervals. Asciminib is taken orally without food (avoid food consumption for at least 2 hours before and 1 hour after taking Asciminib).
Side Effects :
The most common side effects of Asciminib are:
Muscle/bone pain, headache, tiredness, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
