Indication & Dosage :
Aldocort (Fludrocortisone Acetate), Generic Florinef is a prescription medicine used to treat glucocorticoid that mimics the body’s natural production. Fludrocortisone Acetate is administered with other drugs (e.g., hydrocortisone) for adrenal gland disorders (e.g., Addison’s disease, adrenocortical insufficiency, salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome) that lead to low glucocorticoid levels. The physiologic action of Aldocort is similar to that of hydrocortisone.
