Indication & Dosage :

Aclene cream (Adapalene), generic DIFFERIN is a prescription medicine used to treat acne vulgaris. Adapalene is also used to treat Keratosis pilaris. Adapalene affects retinoid receptors that are prevalent in the skin of the face, back, and chest. Adapalene is a regulator of cell differentiation, keratinization, and inflammation, which are all key factors in the development of acne vulgaris. Adapalene attaches to certain retinoic acid nuclear receptors that adjust the differentiation of follicular skin cells and reduce the formation of microcomedones. Adapalene has to applied to the affected areas of skin, once daily at night-time. Before using, gently clean the affected skin with a mild or soapless cleanser and pat dry.
