AKSEF (CEFUROXIME AXETIL), generic CEFTIN is a prescription medicine used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as bronchitis, gonorrhea, Lyme disease, and infections of the skin, ears, sinuses, throat. CEFUROXIME AXETIL works by stopping the growth of bacteria. CEFUROXIME AXETIL antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. CEFUROXIME AXETIL will not work for viral infections (such as the common cold, or flu). AKSEF is manufactured by NOBEL Pharma LTD. in TURKEY.
CEFUROXIME AXETIL has to take orally twice a day with or without food.
