Indication & Dosage :
Actemra (Tocilizumab) is a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis in adults. Tocilizumab is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis in children (such as systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis-SJIA, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis-PJIA). Tocilizumab helps to reduce pain and swelling due to rheumatoid arthritis. Tocilizumab may also be used to treat a reaction (Cytokine Release Syndrome-CRS) caused by certain cancer treatments. Actemra manufactured by Roche Bangladesh Ltd. in Bangladesh.
Tocilizumab is given by injection into a vein by a health care professional. Patient`s doctor will choose what portion is important and how frequently patient need to take it. Dosage is based on Patient`s medical condition, body size, and response to treatment.
Side Effects :
