Liposem (Saroglitazar Magnesium), generic lipaglyn is a prescription medicine used to treat of diabetic dyslipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia in Type 2 diabetes patients inadequately controlled with statins. As a dual peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) α/γ agonist, saroglitazar magnesium effectively reduces triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), and total cholesterol while increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels. Saroglitazar Magnesium enhances glycemic control by lowering fasting plasma glucose and HbA1c. Saroglitazar Magnesium is a proven treatment for diabetic dyslipidemia (DD) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)/metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), demonstrating significant improvements in liver stiffness (LSM), controlled attenuation parameter (CAP), liver fat content, and liver enzyme levels (SGPT, SGOT).
